Rob Ames

Owner/Manager

After working in the industry for 15 plus years, Rob seen a need in the community for a shop that provided service based on trust and commitment to excellence. In the height of covid he decided to do something about it and thus Ames Automotive was born. Rob is a father of four children and husband to Angel, he enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time (if there ever is any).

After receiving her bachelor's degree in Psychology Angel chose to stay at home with her kids which is her biggest passion in life. When Rob decided to start the shop, she was apprehensive but believed in his vision.  Now she enjoys helping run things alongside him and bringing a gentler side to the automotive world.

Peter Dumas

Service Advisor

Avid sportsman Pete joined Ames Automotive with nearly 20 years experience in the field as both a tech and a service advisor. In the rare moments you don't see him at the front desk of Ames, he spends time with his beloved dogs (Koda and Tank), hunting, or fishing.

James Mock

Shop Foreman

James brings with him over 20 years of experience as well as a lot of charisma. He is the class clown of Ames Auto and can always be counted on not only bring his A game when working on cars but his sarcasm as well. When he isn't working, he spends time riding his Harley or hanging out with his kids and granddaughter.

Travis Hagquist

Technician

Travis joined Ames as an entry level tech and has since climbed up the ladder. He truly cares about people and his team members, he has a passion for cars and a desire to succeed. When he isn't here, he hangs with his friends, cats, plays the guitar, or works on his personal project vehicles.

Zaek Pendergast

Technician

Zaek is a very skilled technician with close to 10 years in the field. He spends most of his time both on the clock and off working on cars as it is his passion. He and his girlfriend are pet parents to several cats and like to spend time with friends enjoying nature.

Craig Callear

Service Advisor

Craig is the newest addition to our growing team, he comes with nearly 10 years in the automotive world though not specifically in the advising role. He enjoys sales and helping people, as well as riding his bmx bike and watching death match wrestling. He and his wife Kimi are pet parents to two sweet pups, Donnie and Bane.
